Back from dentist. Crown now correct height and polished: as smooth to the tongue as a virgin's bottom.

A droning from high overhead. Said "that sounds like an Antonov 12" . Dialled up FR24, correct. Mrs OFSO asked "what on earth are you talking about? " My Superpower is unrecognised yet again.

Actually its a substitute for what I might have been permitted to write under the earlier regime. Really, I've never flown on Branson's airline.

Ooh! You are a devil, aren't you? Why not PM me the desired 'naughty words' and I will let you know whether you are correct in your assumption or not?

Orft to bella Italia tomorrow for a few days' R&R. If the leg holds out, we're going back in August for a couple of weeks. I hope the restaurant in Malcesine still features the octopus carpaccio.

I notice that the 'solid' food mixture provided by Llondel wasn't lapped-up as enthusiastically by the pups as was the previous offering.

Maybe it takes time to adjust from 'milk' to 'weetabix'?

Morning all. Cold wind blowing, I know not from where but I know to where, ie our bedroom window, which I had to shut in the night. Inland is forecast a 10°-12° drop from yesterday. With storms expected that will be a new capping of snow on Mt Canigou.

Morning folks.

Usual weather and 19c.

Radio 4 is becoming like a cracked record on Partygate. The only way to stop the nonsense from the media is for the Met to threaten to bring action for wasting police time against the various media.

Thunderstorming here. Took Mrs OFSO to doctor. Insect bite on her leg won't heal. Doctor reamed it out to get "Echte Blut" as opposed to watery stuff. There are some damned odd consequences of insect bites here. Friends daughter had lumps full of parasites after spider bite. Some bites "come up again" every year on the anniversary of the first bite. A discussion apparantly took place with Mrs OFSO on the racial aspects of Monkey Pox. "I call it as I see it" said ze Herr Doctor.

Morning All,

26c guess 28c, blue dome, viz not perfect we are in the heat haze time of year I suppose.

Got a demand by SMS for a customs payment of 1.68€ to be paid by card.
I have decided it's a scam, we don't believe we have anything coming through customs.
If we have they will try again.

Off to Nerja soon to try to find Grants Whisky. Whisky sourced in the UK is getting difficult and quite a few brands are not liked.
SM has to have her W & D pre dinner.

Fang Fettler later a filling I think.

Afternoon folks. Started cold but nice now. I went into the house and left my phone on the key board of the computer. I don't know which keys it was pressing but the thing went crazy. Only by shutting it down on the power button did I get any sense.

Big Cb day here and the South East looks like anvil alley. Intermittent lightning, thunder and some hail interspersed with bright sunshine.

Technically I am back at work. Practically I am sitting drinking tea and shooting the breeze with my better half after yesterday's events. Thanks to all for good wishes. Lots of good souls on this site.

Just discovered that there is a cycle race in this area this coming weekend which will mean we are effectively locked in. Have moved my helicopter lesson to next Tuesday. Damn their Lycra!

The pups were queuing at the 'door' - demanding human contact.

That sometimes means their mother is standing outside.

The most unexpected and interesting compliment about Mrs OFSO's sculpture today. We ate lunch in the restaurant where we currently have most of her works on display. One Catalan guy was examining them so I called him over to our table. When he heard Madame was the sculptor, he said - - in English - - "look at my arms. I get goosebumps just looking at her work."
As we were leaving we said to one of the proprietors, "We'll be taking them away after next weekend." "Oh no" she said, "they look lovely here, leave them as long as you want. "
I saw this on another forum and it made me smile.
