Those of us who are not of the LGBQT persuasion don't push our contra beliefs down everyone's throats, so why do we have to put up with all this?

If they try making it compulsory then I'll be out of here.
As they might say, suck it up princess

Good Moaning,

20c rising 28 guess. Crystal. Guess for the next few is bazzin.

The Serb has just turned up, remember he was starting on 21st, he is still working further up on the fire damaged houses.
The Krauts like him as he speaks German (wife is). The fire struck while he was on holiday in the fatherland so has reparation to complete.
Starting Monday perhaps.

Punto gets his Magic jab later (17.00)

What does Mrs IB follow ? the Harp or Checkers ?

Amphibian? I'm sure I've seen it on wheels.

Yup, here it is

Morning folks. I feel for you Speedy I can't cope with all this *****. Had to look up what it stands for. I was in Washington DC when there was a gay parade weekend. (Just had to edit that I put that I was there 'for' a gay parade weekend), I went on the subway and it was full of them. I stood next to two respectable looking suited business men for safety. When one got off he gave the other one a huge passionate kiss :-o We don't have any of this here or on Amorgos.

Thanks for the info on float planes guys. We have done a fair amount of time on caravans here. No I don't think that we could get one off on our lagoon. It is 7km long but not enough straight bits.

Windy again but clear skies. Up to 28 bats today. Heard hippos around but haven't seen them.

Very pleasant day here, 20C, unfortunately spent mainly inside editing photos from camera club excursion yesterday.
Mrs. Hydro suffering from what she thought was a head cold since Monday. Had a RAT test today and it's positive. Mine was negative. Both fully vaccinated, so hoping it's not too serious, although she has some complicating issues.

Yeah but, yeah but, isn't an amphibian defined as an aircraft that can operate on both land and water, those toy wheels are for manoeuvring on land, it could never land using them. It's a floatplane pure and simple.

Don't know, but it has operated at Bournemouth and Glasgow where the swell is moderate :))

In my book it is an amphib. Great aircraft.

This is what MAF say https://www.maf-uk.org/plane/amphibious-cessna-caravan

One has been "selected" to accept the very kind donation to me canal society from PN's charity.
Must keep my ear to the ground for that event.

Morning folks.

Mrs IB's eJ flight is on it's way to LPL. It would appear that the trains to get from from there to BPL are running.

So just myself, Ed and the cats for the next 8 days.

As I've been up since 06.00, time for an early pre lunch siesta. Pablo's was extremely busy this morning.

Jim-my Dad's people come from Harlaxton. His sister, who was 2 when she died, is buried in the church graveyard.

Morning walk around this mountain town. Very cold wind (altitude) very hot sun (Spain). People leave front doors open, backpackers leave packs on pavement outside bars when they go in. Benches outside every house for weary walkers. Every house festooned in flowers. Lunch today set menu €11. Yes, Paradise.

Pablo's was extremely busy this morning.
It’s reckoned that BA could send an A380 every day and still have a full load of SLF :-o
When all else fails, read the instructions.

The only time I ever handled a float plane I was made to practice "step turns", this was in case one ever had to take off from a short expanse of water ( why would one ever be in that position, but never mind ?). This involved starting the take off from the upwind end of the available area and getting on "the step" whilst accelerating downwind, then making a 180 deg. turn and remaining on the step, so that one was then already "on the step" when heading into wind, thereby effectively doubling the available distance. Very difficult, and I never made it, either dropping off the step in the turn, and losing the advantage gained, or getting airborne in the turn, heading straight for the trees ! I've never handled a floatplane since that one experience.

ExS,

you might have landed in this tight expanse of water as someone said previously.

I am reading about this protest, It goes without saying that I do side with the ladies provided they don't complain if I focus on them like and RF-4E (apologies for the aviation connection).

Feeling a bit lousy with the nose being lightly but enough to be annoying blocked and some fever. My appetite remains excellent.

Man charged with having sex with a horse.
The 35-year-old, of Auckland Crescent, will go on trial at Canterbury Crown Court next year.
Appearing at the same court, the highways worker entered a not guilty plea to the charge.
Henry is charged with intentionally having sex with a living animal, namely a horse, which carries a maximum sentence of two years.

(Horses are known for carrying goods, and more usually, carrying people, but never heard of one carrying a sentence).

A thousand, probably many more, Afghans have died in a recent earthquake.

Tens, probably hundreds of thousands more, are in desperately need of immediate aid.

Where is the Royal Air Force now?

Bored?

Feeling pointless?
