^ egg-frying stuff!

Quite rackety here in the gale. Gust of 150km/h earlier.
Heard an odd sound before, more tintinnabulous than a sheet of corrugated iron hitting the ground, wondering whether a glass panel blew out of the neighbour's little porch area at their side door. Or a glass-house pane somewhere.
Sunny and 15°C.
Around the world thoughts shall fly In the twinkling of an eye

Evening all, another dog show weekend, this one to the south and near the coast, so temperatures were quite sensibly around 20C when the sea fog dissipated and it warmed up (something over 33C back home). Pleased to note that despite the bright sunshine, inside the van remained at a decent temperature even with all the doors closed, so the money spent on insulating it was worth it. Kepler took Best of Breed both days, but didn't get any luck in the group stages. When we got home, she jumped in the pool within a minute of being let out of the van.

Morning, everyone. Or evening, depending. Three days of slightly cooler weather here, not over 30°c, before back to extreme heat on Friday. No gym today as head cold needs a rest.

Morning folks. A cool start but they are promising low 20s later. The flood is moving really fast we may have it in a week or so.

A very noisy weekend on the lagoon and today is a public holiday (President's Day) so expecting the same. They know that no one will pitch up the day after a public holiday so tomorrow is hangover day an unpaid public holiday.

Good Moaning,
Machine is showing 27c, guess 31c.

I dunno where the different publications get their information claiming the same source.
While one, regularly quoted, claims AEMET is guessing a decrease over the next few days.
The AEMET web site is giving my locality low 30s all week.

Serb has just appeared.

Got a squirrel in the electric trap in the library :YMPARTY: Probably the one that has been dodging my crap shooting all week.

Edit, Another one has appeared probably looking for it's mate. Shooter by my side.

"squirrel in the electric trap in the library"

Sounds like a solution from the game "Clue".:))

Pellet pistol or perhaps a .455 Webley? :-?

A very bad noisy afternoon on the lagoon with booze boats. Why do wog women have to scream when on a boat. Why do they have to play noise full blast? Inconsiderate bastards.

Currently 25C in the house.

Put a couple of 2' x 2' growing trays out in the garden and filled them with water for our avian friends. At one stage, one would have though Alfred Hitchcock was making one of his fillums.

We currently have 30degC (hot for us) - now risen to 31 @ 17:45 - tomorrow's forecast is for 34.

Currently 'confined indoors' (self-imposed).
I was out shopping in the village before 9am when it was much cooler.

Son down south is currently seeing 37degC.

Leave the AC off and enjoy your own home sauna.
