After a nap went for the combined ceremonies of ear lowering and car washing.

How did that work?
Barber in the backseat doing his thing whilst the car went through the wash? :-?

Slightly cooler this morning. My joints tell me a change in the weather is coming.

Watching this ape's joy makes me sad and ashamed at my own species, who use other sentient creatures so cruelly!

On happier terrain, or in the air rather, the Battle of Britain Airshow is on at Headcorn this weekend Friday 30th to Sunday the 2nd.

Just received a reminder from my AME's efficient office admin lady to fill in all the CAA paperwork for my medical on Tuesday, included are questions on my sleep patterns with questions like "do I feel like taking a nap after lunch? Have I ever fallen asleep in my car?" =))

"Am I awake now?" I ask myself.

I notice on the mental health side there are no questions that might catch me out on my lycanthropy problem, nor are there any questions that might catch my tendency to want to howl at the new moon! :))

Morning all,
No weather, just passing 32c

Off for a nice little ride in the country to Malaga city for SM to visit eye consultant.

Taking my pad to play internet while waiting.

Had a question and answer session with the nurse Tuesday. "Can you shower unassisted" "Yes, but not often :) Managed this morning " sort of thing.

Going to be toasty here today, definitely over 30C by this afternoon, although it's currently a pleasant 15C outside. Definitely getting into the "only walk dogs early morning or late evening" time of year.

Buongiorno. Too dark to see anything yet: few clouds, one or two stars; 4.4°C expecting 8°C, a shower or two late morning.

My Polish hair dresser lady claims that the difference between a "good" haircut and a "bad" one is - two weeks.
Re haircuts: for many years my hair was very long; had it cut to a classic bob a while ago; the worst cut I ever had - not from my usual hairdresser - took six months and three more cuts to repair :))
But I guess you Lads don't have these issues :)

I see I have a funeral to attend next week.
I dislike when the live-streaming cameras focus on the attendees instead of what is taking place at the front. Maybe I could go in disguise, the Veiled Lady... *going into the realms of fantasy now I think* :-?

Ah shades of Father Noel Furlong ....

Pity the poor members of his youth club who fled to Peru in the end to escape him after he was trapped by a cave rock fall caused by his screeching competition..

Tremendous fanfare of thunder and lightening on the horizon, then storm arrived as some small little nothing. Ten minutes rain, if that. Fiasco.

Morning folks . Nice day but cold wind. Staff paid. Dead easy with bank transfer but our housekeeper wants a cheque. She claims that the bank will not give her the full amount. She doesn't understand that you can't empty your account you have to leave a bit in which in this case is just 2 Euro. Well cheques finish the end of the year so she will have no choice.

My state pension still hasn't arrived. Military and airline OK until they want me to prove that I am alive again via post to Greece.

Received a WhatsApp from a pilot friend of mine asking whether I was going to the Battle of Britain Air Show at Headcorn this weekend. I hadn't planned to but as he is running a stall there I thought I might meander down there tomorrow and catch up with him. so I coughed up £39.00 online for the entrance fee and received a confirmation of my credit card payment but no QR code or tickets arrived via e-mail.

Eventually I rang the Aero Legends folks who fly the Spitfire down there and who are the show organisers and my call was immediately picked up by a very helpful chap who said that BT Internet was blocking their e-mail with the QR code and he immediately sorted the problem for me. Such efficiency, quick, polite and competent service is rare these days and thus kudos to Aero Legends. I shall pop into their office and tell them that myself tomorrow. If anybody here is going tomorrow, I would be delighted to say hello over a coffee or even a beer, however if you are going but definitely don't want to see me then you have now been warned and can hide! =))

An earthquake took place near Amorgos. News report make no mention of damages to the island.

We have no reports. Our house is 300 years old and has survived many earthquakes including the one of 1956 which devastated the island. Will await news.

Thanks RiS.
