The guy at the timber yard is so nice. Knowing I have trouble backing the trailer into his barn, as soon as I stop he whips it off and walks it to the log store inside. Then I back the car in. Hardly out of the car before he's hooked it up and plugged it in again. Amazingly he always rounds the price down €62 today became €60. 312Kg. Expensive compared to France where far more people heat with woodstoves, but ok for Spain. On the back road coming home I saw a hare. First time ever in this country.

It must be a pain always hanging upside down.

I presume that they fly the right way up . . . ?

Ah, now how about peeing and pooping? :-o

Pleased to report that he flew off at dusk.

Good morning, 6°C expecting 12°C and a southerly change later which may bring a little rain; sky clear enough to see the Moon and Venus earlier.
All the recent rain should mean a great crop of grass for silage and haymaking over the next month or so.

Dogs are fine. All three. However not having treats I brought them savoury biscuits. They spat these out faster than a speeding bullet. Then looked accusingly at me. One standing on his back legs so almost at my face level. Sighed and slowly walked away with tails between legs. I felt so mean !

7/15. made mulligatawny soup for tea, looks good in the pan. Took daughter to a physio for a 30 minute session, parked in a car park while she was jerked about. In the 30 minute time the car park went from 10% usage to 100% usage and back to 10% while parents came and picked up kids from two schools nearby.!! I was parked opposite the lollypop man (the chap who stops the traffic to allow the kids to cross the road)and I was impressed how well behaved the youngsters were when crossing the road..

I seem to go through a lot of computer mice.
Various failure modes but most and latest involve the scroll wheels.
The last would not scroll but would allow mouse movement to scroll a page if the wheel was pressed down. Also, left click button was not always effective on first press.
New one from Big River Co. has both WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity so works on computer as well as IPad and hand me down MacBook from D#2. :YMAPPLAUSE:

Was looking at FR for something else and attention was diverted: why Italian Air Force flight just taken off from CHC? IAM4600.

Ozzy Osbourne gave up taking acid while the recording of Black Sabbath's Volume 4.

He said, “I took 10 tabs of acid, then went for a walk in a field. I ended up standing there talking to this horse for about an hour. In the end, the horse turned round and told me to **** off. That was it for me.”
When all else fails, read the instructions.

Ergot!

LSD, a very bad idea. A good friend, one of the sweetest people I have known, had a flash back, where a nanogram of this complex molecule, which can be fat soluble, hit his cerebrum while he was riding his motorcycle on his way to work, straight into the Armco on the M4 near Swansea. Left a lovely wife and two young kids, as a result of one foolish night, many years before! Not really a good idea, but I am sure Ossie knows that.

The conjunction between the Moon and Venus must have been very pretty to see this morning in the Northern Hemisphere, did anyone see it?
Will be out of orb by dawn tomorrow here.

I haven't met Ozzy Osbourne, but I have met the recently-married Mr Mandelson, and I know where my vote would go. I think at least with Ozzy you'd get a laugh or two.

Morning folks. Hot wind scattered Cu. Grass fertilized and watered in. Had to start the genny.
