Morning all, waiting to be picked up & taken home. Feeling so much better now. Thank you all for your wishes while I've been crook. The last time I was ill was 2020, and I had forgotten what a bugger it is.

No, I'll be my usual snappy self, otherwise they'll think I'm still ill. :-o

Mrs Hydro has been running around like a blue arsed fly, coming to the hospital twice a day, and fussing around like the mother hen she is. fortunately, I can now at least do most things to take the load off her.

I haven't got time to be ill. Except that now I'm getting older I have more frequent visits from something that says "oh yes you do". This has been a bit of an adjustment because I used to be able to push through, but now I do occasionally need to just concentrate on recovering.

Morning folks. Worse case scenario. No sun no rain.

Our friend who was robbed last weekend has been asking our project manager to build her a new cess pit for ages. Old one fell in :-o She is a bit low on his jobs list as she always asks to pay in instalments, she doesn't have much dosh. She now has practically nothing. We have bought her a cesspit which will go in next week. Never bought a cesspit for anyone before. Thought she may be offended so joked about it and she has accepted.

She is doing OK but her injuries will take some time to heal, tough gal.

Good news Hydromet.

Take it easy Hydro. Takes time to recover as Mrs OFSO is experiencing.
Bright sun pouring into bedroom woke me up this morning at seven. Phone says cloud and rain. Bah, humbug....

Hope your friend comes good, Ex-Ascot. She sure was the victim of a low act and probably lucky to survive. She must be a very strong lady.
Thanks OFSO, just being at home helps the recovery. visits from magpies, butcher bird & king parrots all help.

Good Morning All

11°c, 16°c predicted by the runes

In Cloud, Steady rain all night just starting as I was following Henry.
3cm of much needed recorded.

In other news I write to the steady drip of rain water into a bucket.
The roof terrace is leaking into the kitchen so that will be re-grout and sealing externally plus the ceiling re-plastering

Arghhhhhhh

Bought a new computer last week. It's very fast and quiet. Today I spent an hour or so sorting out the rats nest of cables. I found one I hadn't used in 15 years. That's freed up a power point spot. Happily the other IT job I had to do today had sort of fixed itself. That was to reconfigure the downstairs WiFi extender. I thought it had stopped working, nope, it was working just fine. :)

Not really on my work radar chat, there was a little initially. The Chally I fly is a different model with different Engine Run switches.
That appears to be a possible source of why the engines shut down.

Above freezing and bright sunshine!
Got the snowblower repaired and set to on the driveway. Done in 20 minutes, just as well as snowblowers are not slushblowers.
Almost feels like Spring Clean weather. May do a dhobi.

Your not giving away the score, or the result of the drop goal attempt, is much appreciated by those of use who must catch the highlights tomorrow.
