Jamaica - or did she go of her own accord?

Ha ha. She left house at 08:00, shopped, and back by 08:45. South West Rail there, taxi back as raining.

A filthy morning, Big electrical storm driving rain 99% humidity.

Good Friday, not seeing much good about it, Spanish holiday so the world will be closed.

As yesterday don’t think I will venture forth today.

Continual Rain with possible Thunderstorms forecast for the next 23 hours here also, then it's Snow mixed with Rain. Flood Warnings issued. Deep Joy.

The guesser has declared that 29c is his best guess for the day, so today I will attend to giving the grass a grass cut, which will take about 1.5 to 2 hours of sitting on the lawn mower, after doing that I will give myself a well-deserved break and take it easy for the rest of Easter.

Still a long time away from Easter here but sunny and nice.. A friend is celebrating his name day and I have been invited to a dinner tonight. Warm and hopefully with clear skies - recently there have been several days with Haze due to dust moving in from North Africa

Morning folks from deep in the bush. New Internet in rooms only. Flight yesterday was delayed due to late arrival of a connecting flight. Flew out with a large USA family. She was a trolley tart so knew everything about flying. Fortunately they are at the sister camp. Got our usual room next to a pool and bar. Blazing sun at home for months now raining. Didn't go out this morning now time for a breakfast beer at our bar.

Good Morning All

8°c, 14°c predicted by the sooth.

A filthy morning, Steady rain, woken by it clattering down the stairs to the roof terrace at 0530. 3cm in the last 48 hours. Some will think 3cm is not much but remember I am on the Costa del Sol, not supposed to get wet like this.

I hesitate but the sealing of the roof seems to have worked – no lake in the kitchen …… Yet.

I need to go out shortly, food to get, Parcels to collect.

Nice and blue on the Humber with 14C,rain isn't forecast until Wednesday,if that comes to pass it will be the longest dry break this year probably since about October. Fortunately we don't flood but one village south of here has been cut off for six months, the river bank that breached is due to have repairs complete d in about a week and then they will start to pump out the fields and reopen the roads. Of course a similar thing happened about four years ago and they fixed it and solved their problems for ever!!!!
This Charcot Murray Tooth problem of mine is getting to be a PIA of the first order, the circuit breaker blew at lunch time and took out all of the sockets probably something to do with the toaster. My bloody hands are so weak now Mrs 1DC had to shove the breaker back up to start everything, tiny little thing too.Hands look ok just short on muscle.

......my wife!! It used to be that when I approached with the nail clippers there would be sharp intakes of breath without my touching her feet. The resulting stramash* was very stressing for both of us such that I then refused point blank to do it. Me "Go to the chiropodist then", her "I can't stand that woman".
Eventually we got a lady foot fettler who is acceptable and they chat away during the process and I get on with making the dinner. Phew!

It was a good day here at the eastern extremity of the known world. Played golf this morning on the most easterly golf course in the UK in zero wind which is a pretty rare occurrence. What was equally rare is that I had a decent game and had the best score of the month in our Saturday morning society. 38 Stableford points for any golfers amongst you. That meant I won the money! Enough to pay my subs for the next three months plus a couple of pints. Win, win!
