We think she* might have been here before - had a similar sized one a couple of years ago in the neighbour's place behind us, and their little dog was bitten (these guys are non-venomous). It may have been a different story if it had wrapped itself around her.
Fortunately, we're pretty snake-friendly here, and if it wasn't for the little dog it may have been allowed to stay. The two neighbours took it back to the nearby bush. No doubt we'll se it again.

*I think it's a she because of the size.

Hydro!, NO!, Just NO!, I hate them!
Unfortunately, many people feel that way, and there's probably not much they can do about it.
Actually, I'll be up in Lamington NP at the end of next month trying to photograph some, as well as anything else that comes along.

Oh really!?!.....You might get a Yowie! :)

What part of lamington?

I feel better in the water with a shark than in a room with a snake...a phobia I suppose, I saw my Father pick up my 3yr old Sister just before she stepped on a death adder that was hidden under some grass clippings in a gutter of a new estate.

Off to Clinico Hospital in Malaga this morning. Review of prostate situation. PSA figure obtained yesterday was down.

At least, living on the western side of the city, can get there by train and metro.

I don't remember it, but apparently I was playing on the steps at home in Mt Mulligan, & Mum saw a taipan on the steps & grabbed me.

Going to O'Reilly's. Last time I was in that area was about 60 years ago, over at Lost World. Didn't have a camera with me then, but saw lots of wildlife & birds.

O'Reillys...ok...going to the Stinson Crash site?

30 odd years ago I went to O'Reillys with some friends we walked about 2 hours to the bottom of the valley . ready to jump into a pristine national park lagoon when a 10 ft eel cruised by, thick as you thigh...so we didn't jump in!!

Then, what happened after I will never forget....beyond the lake there appeared a scantily lad Woman with no shoes, she walked along the edge of the lake for a little bit, look at us, then dissapeared back into the jungle....

I know exactly what a former Member of this esteemed site would ask, but he 'aint here ( he does lurk, on occasion) so I'll ask for him. :D

Did she have big tits? :ymdevil:

I'll see myself out.

No, my days of walking that far in one day are long gone I'm afraid. However, I'll keep an eye out for eels and...other wildlife.
When I was at Lost World I heard the story of the Stinson crash and Bernard O'Reilly finding the wreckage when the official search was abandoned. Should have done the walk when I was young & fit.

Meanwhile, on the flight deck..

Co- to Captain. "1,000 ft, cleared to land. There seems to be a fuel imbalance, heavy left. We are running out of right aileron trim"
"This is your captain speaking. On the right hand side of the ship you can see the topless ladies beach volleyball competition".

Bacon Sarnie, arrival meal back in Spain. House is bitterly cold. Wood stove lit, CH finally came on, wound the dial round.

Our friend who picked us up on returning to our nearest AVE station, and has lived here for 30 years, was breathalysed for the first time ever outside the railway station, at 16:45. Inside the station, police were checking the ID cards of all travellers coming off the train. This, coupled with daily police roadblocks, makes me wonder what's going on here. Or what the authorities think is going on.

...or what the Police want their masters to think is going on.
If in doubt, look busy and arrest a usual suspect or two.

Blue dome, lawns and roofs looked very dewy first thing; 10.6°C now expecting 16°C.
House-fairy has been rollicking through.
Rubbish-day: the bin-men are without.
And with the morn, those angel faces smile...

Morning folks. Rain. A town day.
