Piccadilly Circus here this morning. Three plumbers here to fix an irrigation pop up then three arrived to asses the thatching job. Irrigation fixed, thatch is going to be a big expensive job. First job is to get the grass. This will involve a large lorry from some distance away.

Greetings,

17°c, 19°c predicted by the soothsayer.

Blue. The day to day variation in temperature is unusual and takes some getting used to.

A visit to Ginger the Doctor is the highlight of the day, ....
How do you ginger the doctor?

Oh, now I see what you mean.

I wonder if her hair colour is real, not many gingers in Spain.
Convinced it is :)
She "Listened me" and she is not happy, not clear what but seems to be my heart.
My appointment for chest scan which was 3rd May she has cancelled and now it's next week.
The ECG of last week she seems not happy with and I have another of those also next week.

No delays - seems urgent.

Good luck Woders. Hopefully the two other curses of older ON members, knees and prostates, will pass you by.

Hope all goes well, Woderick, it sounds like Bluey (the nickname of all redheads in Australia) is on the ball, and hopefully, any problems have been caught early.

Good morning all, clear blue skies, currently 16C, forecast max 25C. It has the makings of a perfect autumn day.
In front of the house we have a large Gordonia tree, which flowers at this time of the year. The bees love it, as it allows them to stock up for winter. When the sun hits the top of it in the morning, we can hear them from inside the house. We have the usual Italian honeybees and Tetragonula native bees.

Jim at his usual end of the line to wish Woders health and peace. Your name has been mentioned to The Boss.

Sorry Jim, but you came second last in wishing Woders all the best with his upcoming health examination, I seem to have received that honour due to
being on the other side of the world. I have to go as the washing machine has just played its little tune to signify that it has completed its task and it's
time for me to get off my bum and go hang it out.
All the best Wodrick.

Why do all washing machines (or is it only Samsungs) play Schubert's "The Trout" song when they finish?

Morning folks. All the best Wodders. Broken cloud. The bats have made a big mess this morning.

Our last washing machine gae a nice loud 'ding' when it finished the cycle. The current one does nothing, and the countdown timer is never right. I always add 10 minutes to the time it says it will take at the start.

Just adding my best wishes too, Wodders. As Hydromet says, hopefully any malfunctions have been caught early.

Good Wishes from the Humber Wodders apart from the us lot the lady who matters is also paying you plenty of attention.
The Grand National horse race will be run in a few minutes, and our local TV news man wanted to know who was for it and who was against on the local news last night, in his piece he interviewed the vet who deals with the racecourse. He said that you will always get those who are for and against but said for support it is the most popular horse race in the world and 300 million people worldwide will watch the race on television. I was surprised at t hat..

It was only a few weeks ago when I was wearing my recently-updated NHS hearing aids in the kitchen that I realised that all the electrical equipment (dishwasher, air fryer, Kenwood Chef, slow cooker, etc) emits various high-pitched bings, peeps & beeps at various stages of whatever it is that they are doing. Quite a cacophony!
