Greetings,

Thanks for the applied force.

20°c,
Blue.

Just been to the walk in centre for some reassurance about my thrombosis which developed overnight. No great concern it seems unless it starts to go hard or hurts or both. If does then go to hospital better equipped.

Thrombocid Forte pomada 5mg, yellow and black tube. Every pharmacy in Spain has It. Rub in twice a day. Brilliant stuff, works well and quickly.

Good morning, a fresh sunny morning, 6.6°C expecting 16°C.

The previous days' rain has washed the sky clear of clouds now and caused sixty millyun a large number of California Poppy seedlings to sprout in my garden.

Mars and Jupiter are in conjunction, a couple of degrees apart at present, in the ENE before sunrise.

Blue dome :)

Good morning all, Clear blue sky mostly, but incongruous black clouds in the north. Currently 17C, forecast max 26. No rain forecast. Garden watering day.

Good morning, today is one of house cleaning, so far the bathroom and kitchen have been attended to, now to dust and drag out the sucky machine to
remove the detritus from the floors before washing them.

Morning all. Another mild start to the day before temperatures plunge to near zero tonight and tomorrow night, or so the Weather Wizards forecast.

Morning folks. Clear sky cool wind. The Daily Snail thinks that Gibraltar is an island. Wasn't when I was last there.

I suppose it was for a while when the Generalissimo closed the gates for a few years.

I was reading some stuff on a septic website a few days ago about Gib and it too thought that Gib was an island. Not only that, but they thought it was uninhabited!

I see the Reds have been banned from performing there, because Spain has said it's an act of aggression :-o No less aggressive than damaging the landing lights at LXGB

https://www.express.co.uk/news/world/18 ... ain-latest
https://www.chronicle.gi/guardia-civil- ... way-light/

I suspect that Brussels will have its revenge for Brexit, and Gibraltar will be the whipping boy. This government is far too toothless to stand up to them or the Spanish. If Spanish boots arrive on the ground at LXGB, it is the beginning of a slow spiral of decline, and eventually, bullfighting will take place in Casemates Square. The Spanish of course, will continue to hold on to Melilla and Ceuta without a word from anyone.

G'day,
21c, Dome not quite as clear as it might be.

Watering and stuff.

Hate it.

Thrombosis if anything slightly larger despite crema, going more yellow.

Hope that resolves uneventfully, Wodrick. Take care :YMHUG:

A very enjoyable trip to Tenerife courtesy of teh Big Fella and easyJet.
We stayed at the hotel KN Arenas del Mar at El Medano. It's rather close to GCTS. It's a mecca for wind powered watersports.
So I had a couple of lessons trying to learn to wing foil. It's very challenging. However, I have managed 2 x 1 nanosecond flights before crashing spectacularly. :D Big thanks to the folks at Duotone.

Restaurant wise, so good! From the cheerful to the incredible.
El Timon - very tasty seafood dishes, amazing local wine and the Table of Death. Owner is entertaining but staff are great.
Cafe Flashpoint. - Great coffees and delicious hamburgers. Excellent service.
Santo Chihuahua - fun bar.
Ab Originie Pizza Di Napoli - Great pizzas. Fun ambience too.
Punta de Lobos - Next door to Ab Originie. The ceviche was incredible. Delicious wine. Great service.
Restaurant El Ancla. OMFG. Tuna is their specialty and it's some of the best food we've eaten. We ate there twice. The degustation menu is worth it (need to request it on booking). Staff are great. Chef is a genius.
Hotel dinner buffet was good value for €25 inc wine.

Seems like you have had a few nice days of relaxation Reddo.. Mrs 1DC and I dined out with friends at one of Cleethorpes's decent restaurants last night, Figs is the name if anyone ever gets to the end of the line!!
Turned cooler on the Humber, down to 10C with a cool wind. That figures because Madame declared that we would start pressure washing the garden slabs today, we started on the pink granite around. the back and I decided to myself that it would be a nice two days work. Herself clearly was in mindreader mode because she declared a job and finish, result by late afternoon all the pink granite is clean. Whinges about backache and aching legs are not permitted, although she did her fair share and I notice she is rather quiet this evening..
