Clicking on Prospector's link in IV takes you to post #1 of that thread instead of post #33193.

But I am quite sure that I have visited once or twice since last December. Not that it really matters, I'm just pleased that the site exists and is well maintained.

A random puzzlement: for several days now I've noticed a flash of reflected sunlight on my living-room wall at precisely 5:02pm.
It's probably caused by someone closing a window, but where? and why so precisely at that time?
Must keep a lookout this afternoon.

Sad for the Ex-As who can't purchase Marmite. For my birthday last month I was given a jar of... wait for it... Marmite and Peanut Butter!
Wonderful.
Very strange, these sudden shortages, though. MuckyD's and milkshake, and here in the East Midlands, Nando's (the cheapo peri-peri chicken vendors) have had to close half their outlets because of shortages of (a) peri-peri chicken and (b) peri-peri staff. However, one shall not mourn the absence of either of these commodities.

On another topic entirely, did a Child Dedication (waterless baptism, sorta) last week, and in an act of war the Mother of the child has now published a picture of Mr and Mrs Jim so obviously enjoying ourselves at the subsequent lively party. One is now considering how one shall respond...

The neighbours have elected to become owners of three Peacocks that were given to them by another close neighbour.I now know how their name came
about, they were previously called Peabrains given their complete stupidity. They live next door but sleep in a tree in our yard,Our three dogs think it is great fun to scare the christ out of them when they awake and climb down the tree into our yard, one would think they would of learnt by now that our yard is not the best place to get out of bed,but given the size of their head compared to the feathers and fan tail I think they hope to get by on their looks and not thir brains.

The predecessor to this thread keeps showing up in my Unread Posts list even though I've read all the way to the end of it. It has become a zombie thread, undead.

Morning all. Another windy night. Had to turn off the fan and close the window at some time as being thrashed by the curtain. Rain promised again by mendacious weather chaps.
7 am and just getting light. Oh dear.

What a very nice new ship we have. Obviously not built by the Scottish Government.

That photo of our Jim and Mrs Jim was a very unchristian act on the woman's part.
It's looks like "Mrs Disapproval meets the Reverend Despair"

Grey, drizzly and miserable here. Looks like the cloud will be with us all day.

Got a call from the Kidney fiddlers yesterday. Op is scheduled for Friday the 17th of September.
Have to self isolate for a week beforehand. Hopefully that will be the last of the major surgery for a long,
long time.

Right I'm off to explore the ship.

Eventually it will drift to page 4, it's already at page 2.

Hola!
Pretty much as *Ibbie* reported except I am in cloud 99% humidity and only 21c.
1.3cm accumulation of wet overnight, the pond has gone cloudy again.

SM is off to the Health Centre shortly for what has become a weekly visit. Cleaning and redressing.

I have a Fang Fettler this afternoon for molar extraction.
She says she can't do anything with it and has been wanting to pull it for a while now.

*HF* quite quick for surgery I think - be thinking of you when the time comes, hoping for a complete success.

Op is scheduled for Friday the 17th of September.
I've just booked my car in for it's annual service for that day at 09.30, HF.

What is 'La Vuelta'...? I ask because Mrs Fliegs & I are rather fond of a Spanish sparkling (Cava?) found down here called 'La Vuelta'....

...also who is Craig Murray & what did he ever do?...
