Lunch with 2/3 of the family group. Nice and a reaffirmation of ties.

I have just bought a wine box that feels it necessary to explain, in quite large letters, that 4l = 4 x 1l. And there's a pictogram, presumably in case I can't read numbers.
I'm now concerned about who their target customer might be, and whether I would even wish to be associated with them by buying the same stuff, given they need help with kindergarten math.

High overcast, supposed to rain but hasn't so far; 21.4°C.
"Jam tomorrow" forecast with a cold southerly to whoosh through and bring rain, they say.
We'll see...
And with the morn, those angel faces smile...

Morning all. Bad night after eating a hot cross bun, too early, too late. Dry out, light rain foreseen at midday. Two more days in the land of mildness, then back to cold nights and hot days.

Morning folks.

More cloud, some grey about today. Presently 11c with a high of 19c suggested for the afternoon.

The content and comment of Radio 2 Today program this morning is substandard.

Morning folks, 26C FBMN 200400Z 2006/2106 08006KT CAVOK. Mammoth watering. We have had some fantastic weather over the last weeks. Friend arriving from Amorgos on Saturday. Rain forecast for the whole week.

4m 'tinny' perfect for playing about on your own...25hp outboard, which is the largest you can fit to it...a lot of fun. Hidey holes & hatches galore, and gets up on the plane and skims along beautifully...faux wood trim by junior fliegs...its actually foam!!.....hose it all down with fresh water afterwards & good to go again!

Hydro....with the attached picture, do you think I could haul my overly bulky frame over the transom of a 4m 'tinny' without flooding it???

I often do free diving in the 'Seaway'

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gold_Coast_Seaway

....but the drive there is a pain & I just wondered if I could anchor nearby....then I could go in from and exit vis the boat anchored nearby!!!..

Off to the dental hygienist for 1500, thence to a solicitor we don't use any more to collect the house title deeds from where they have lain for the last 26 years. A TV programme recently made me wonder when one of us snuffs it whether, having bought the house together before we were married, the title deeds are set up so we own the house 'jointly and severally' as intended at the time. There may well be different terminology for 'jointly and severally' in Scotland and we need to make sure the title deeds are set up to our best advantage.

From my experience in Scotland it should not matter that Mrs C16 was single at the time of the house purchase and only her maiden surname is on the title deeds. For example my previous spouse was, in legal documents, referred to as 'Forenames plus maiden surname or Ist married surname or 2nd married surname'.
