Good Morning all,
I have 22c guess is 30c.
Quite hazy.
SM reports that she is allowed to move around, not seen the surgeon yet. Lot of back pain which will be the bed.
She got the impression last night that the whole thing was much worse than Dr G expected.
I am taking Henry to the Vet 14.45 he has stopped eating. Not playing ball etc. certainly not himself.
Time to check pension in bank (Guvmint pittance)

Maybe Henry is stressed due to SM absence

Dermatologist comes to his office in our local town Friday mornings. So why nobody there? Honestly it's easier to die of cancer than find a dermatologist. Looks like it'll be the old "bottle of whiskey and soldering iron" again. I've got a new one, electronically temperature controlled.

Afternoon folks. Wodders, pleased that SM is out of surgery. Hope that will be the end of it. Funny day, windy, lots of Cu. We now have two clean cars and he didn't take too much time over it. This time I didn't leave the keys in the car. Last time he drove it into the garage. He can't drive.

We have got people in front of us up to their necks in water diving down to cut the rhizomes from the lilies. Excuse me but there are crocs out there. What is more important your life or a little snack? Crazy.

Why would you deprive a croc of a little snack?

I continue to derive pleasure by frequent referrals to the puppycam site.
There is much to observe and reflect on.
The pups seem to be thriving (with at least one exceeding the growth of others).
They appear to have learned to use their toilet area appropriately, and have learned to feed amicably from their dishes.
They also seem to share 'sleepy-time' and show inquisitiveness about their surroundings beyond their pen.
I don't see much evidence of play with toys - but the camera only displays stills rather than moving images.
I look forward to llondel having time for commentary.

Any chance of a member posting a photo of puppies from a daytime hour, all I have seen so far is a lot of snapshots of sleeping puppies due to this great big world
spinning on its axis. Thanks in anticipation.

To me it seems they have reached the stage of skirmishing amongst themselves, and then dropping in their tracks to sleep - delightful wee critters.

Today is the day when all Australians of voting age get a chance to vote for a politician of their choice, not that it will benefit Australia as they all as bad as each other.
All the left leaning media have been pushing the Labor Party over the Liberal Party, it seems we may have a hung parliament that relies upon Independent's to form
government.A parliament requiring the votes of independent's is not good for the country as has been shown before.

Morning All,
Still Hazy, 26c guess 28c.
Driving round yesterday hit 33c in places but generally around 30c.
Not happy that SM discharged yesterday. I have a very sore version this morning.
She was not prescribed the course of self administered injections which have followed her three previous operations here.
I foresee difficulty.

Morning folks, sorry to hear that Wodders. Hope things get better soon.
Very cold here S.A. is blowing us a bitterly cold wind. Our verandah faces south. We live outside but it will be lunch inside today. Our little round table for two in the corner of the living room is in the sun.
Safari camp for a few beers.

Why they call it the dark continent. Mall without power at midday!
Business losses must be huge.
Hope the NAVAIDS for the SID are working!
Massive cold front parked just off the coast!

When Roger, our island's GP, retired a couple of years ago he started up a small market garden business and delivers to many folk on the island. It's great to get "home-grown" veg that is delivered just hours after being cut. Amongst this morning's delivery to me was this large cauliflower.
Roger even has a YouTube channel!

Forecast was 40° plus today. Reality 26°.Thick fog bank down in the Bay below. German yachtsmen will be panicked, French opening another bottle of cheap champers and crashing into one another. Locals staying home and weeping over Barça's defeat at the hands of Madrid.

Just finishing off the crossword this morning and checking a couple of answers on-line when I noticed that my computer was playing up - opening new windows when I typed in a search item, not bringing up the information I was inputting, etc., etc. - until I noticed that the corner of a clipboard I was using was resting on the Ctrl key. Moved it and all returned to normal.
Must tidy my desk.

Noisy flipping (Mod you know what I mean) boat going past, I wish I could just blow them out of the water. They come 40 kms out of town and have no consideration for the residents on the lagoon. Flipping people. May they all get some dreadful disease and die. Well they probably will.
We are going to brave lunch outside. Well wrapped up and the wind has dropped slightly.
Met an interesting S.A. couple at lunchtime. They have got the biggest mobile home you have ever seen, They have a quad bike on board and tow a 4x4 car behind.

Re: The really boring and totally pointless snippets thread V
Viewers of house delayed by one hour, now coming at 17:00. Managed to find all the paperwork, they always ask the property area in m2 despite being able to stand on top terrace and see it all. Typically I have three different sizes on official certificates. Now quite hot out so I'll put the a/c on full blast. Swimming pool pump been on since lunchtime, only used the pump a couple of times this year: never gets dirty.
Now the fact is that we really don't want to sell, as someone else here will understand, but we can't go on living up here on the mountain for ever, so moving nearer to the medieval town of CdE is tempting. But all in all, a snigger at our asking price won't worry us: a substantial offer will trigger a frantic search in CdE.
