A day back at the 'Country Practice' tomorrow...It's late and I shall not be responding to my very friendly colleague's texts....mayhaps overly friendly colleague...of whom I enjoy her company / texts / snapchats very much indeed....but am not too sure she really knows where I am really at despite my disclaimers....should I wish to discard a lifetime of loving trust and 'stuff' built up together over 30 years,....she'd be the willing participant, no doubt, however, that is never going to happen....but I do enjoy the fun she brings to work...but don't care to lead the lovely Lady along to something which is not going to happen...
Her ex husband was a serial cheat...she should know I will not, but to be fair / honest......Can see how she would be a temptation

But I haven't sinned!...Merely appreciated a lovely loving soul that is also 'very easy on the optic nerve
'...as Paul Hogan may once have said..

Hard to get a snap of my dentist.

Just filled the Toyota with 95 - £1.28 at the rate of the day.
If I travel a little I can get it for about 10p less.

After the preceeding posts I read that as sugary. Our surgery is not doing Covid so waiting for the Meres if the NHS gets around to calling us.

Last night D#2 called to tell me that she had picked up a stray dog roaming the streets a few blocks from our house.
He had a county tag but no owner info.
She brought him home. He is a well-behaved Pit Bull. Very docile and obedient. :O3
A call to county Animal Control gave me owner contact through an automated system.
Call number given for owner and was told that he had been forced to rehome the dog as well as his two other dogs due to a four month hospitalization. :(
He called the neighbor who had assisted with the rehoming and she contacted the new owner who called me. :-bd
They were reunited this morning. :YMHUG:

I love it when everything comes together properly. :YMAPPLAUSE:

With the exception of mandatory mask use indoors/public spaces, Catalunia has removed all Covid restrictions from next Friday.

I managed to enjoy 30 minutes or serious swimming despite the forecast for thunderstorms. And I managed to get the 8K steps needed for the day.

EA01 good luck with the situation you are describing

I'm at 69N 27E, the aurora is spectacular tonight.
Been watching it for about 2 hours but mrs T and I have had to come in as we are pretty cold.
The temperature is -2c.
30cm snow forecast over the weekend and we have booked the car train south, from Kemijarvi, on saturday as the car is with M+S tyres.
The studdedtyres are in my garage in Talma, near Helsinki.
Midday, managed to cut my finger, while splitting logs for fire.
Sent a photo to the health centre in Ivalo, who said I needed stitching.
70km drive, took about 50mins, straight in, 3 stitches and tetanus jab, out 28 mins later.
Non-alcoholic leisurely lunch in the pubi and back at our summer cottage by 1630.
An interesting day!!

Curtailed my walk tonight as something big and hairy snufflingly grunting on the edge of the woods past our house. Not safe to investigate. Probably senglar...

Morning All....Long soaking rains here and more to come...fabulous for the pool & lawn.

For some reason I was reminded of this person this morning, an amazing history of really really odd behaviour....

Major discovery!
Reading Mr B. Fogel's book on being English, where he breaks the news that

EATING JUST 5 GRAMMES OF MARMITE PROVIDES A QUARTER OF OUR REQUIRED VITAMIN INTAKE!

Aint that just grand?
(mind you, I was given a 100 gramme pot for Christmas and I'm not halfway down it yet...

Yearly intake or monthly?

Morning folks. Looks like another hot one. Is it just us or are other people sick of hearing that Christmas is in jeopardy in the UK because of supply problems. WTF. Half the kids probably don't even know what Christmas is about. Here it will be like any other day. Don't need to get a Christmas tree we have them already decorated, at that time of year, all the way up our track to the road known as the Kalahari Christmas tree (Dichrostachys Cinerea).
