Quite pleasant out today however, Mrs 4ma is still in thick coat and several layers mode - she's a southern girl. Quite quiet in the sky today - must be beer-call time after the big exercise.

Big Fat Cat Part II. Missing since we were in England. On this mornings walk heard miouwing from a locked garage door in rarely used neighbour's house. No local estate agents have keys. Police disinterested, said call universal help line 112. Within ten minutes Fire Brigade turned up, four blokes. Could not open door as no owner to give permission. They called the Mossos, Catalan police. Two turned up. Street full of blue lights. No permission to open door. Left. Miouw miouw.
Part III. After lunch I went down and put cat food and water under the door, 1/2" gap. Crunch crunch. Then silence. As I was contemplating knocking the hinge pins out (up and over door) man with keys arrived. Opened garage door, which is the cellars of the house, set into the mountainside, going on for ever. No dwarves to be seen, but cat heard miles off.

Part IV. Called cat, no response. Man went upstairs to see if cat had climbed up, nothing. Waited a bit, miouw but no cat. It's in there somewhere. I have man's number

OK, there are still three puppies in the pen, although they're getting too big for it. One is leaving Saturday evening, her people are driving from Colorado as I type, probably somewhere in Nevada at the moment. The other girl will be leaving on the 6th April, we finally managed to place her, to someone with an aviation connection, it turns out (ATC). We will probably take down the pen and put the two puppies in crates after the weekend, so the puppy cam will go off-line when that happens.

Other notable bits of news are that it was six years ago that Faraday and I did our first dog show. We were at the same place for a show this morning, too, and the sad bit of news is that Tesla may be leaving us soon. She's finding it hard to get up, and the pain pills aren't enough to help her, so her last trip to the vet is imminent unless they've got some better pills.

It looked like our ancient cat was nearing the end of her days because she was having difficulty getting up and down steps, in December our vet suggested we try something new called Solensia, I've been giving her a monthly jab and the difference is nothing short of miraculous, she now glides like a cat should. https://www.vetreport.net/2021/04/zoeti ... -solensia/

Respect to Tesla for her achievements so far and to liondel her keeper to decide when it's time to call time on her suffering - it's a kindness that humans can perform to enable our animals to reach the Rainbow Bridge.

Up early to vote in our state elections today. A really uninspiring lot of candidates. We're in a safe Liberal (in Australia, that means exactly the opposite) seat, and it's my belief that the best seat is usually one held by an independent, followed by a marginal one. However, there's only one independent and our views are in total disagreement, so no vote for her. The main opposition party don't want to waste money on an unwinnable seat, so have put up a work experience student. A pox on all their houses.

Mostly overcast, 20°C now, forecast rain later, jam tomorrow etc.

Have put the electric fans away for the duration.

Should be a pretty view of the crescent Moon and Venus after sunset this evening, but naturellement it will be cloudy.

Goodmoaning,

21c, blue dome, 17.3 overnight low.

Same brilliant Moon and Venus last night.

Thinking might be Vet this morning, Henry not eating and vomited yesterday afternoon.

What has happened to *TGA* ? 11/3 by my view of the cosmic all.
