Goo'morning; raining, 5°C, feels like 2°C, expecting 7°C.
All go, innit.

Hey you lot up norf,I asked previously for you to send that big yellow warm orb back down south, present local temp indicates you have not complied. Should this noncompliance
continue then I will have no alternative but to start sending our politicians up to give your politicians a hand, I know this is cruel and unusual punishment but you need to
comply with the request post haste.

What Bob2s said. Cold as charity here today, despite that yellow thing in the sky. We've sent Albo. that's just a warning. If you don't comply, we'll send Penny Wong

Hey, Wod! Some good medical news at last.
That can't be right, surely? We don't do good round here... not recently, anyway.
Seriously, Alleluia!

Am looking after a sick horse. The mare is really not well. We're giving her the best of treatment, in accordance with vet advice, and she is responding, so there is hope.
It could go either way, but right now it's not looking good. I really really don't want to lose her. She's a good 'un.

Phoebe is worth saving.
Even Housedog is worried about her.

Is Phoebe a victim of grass sickness?

A thunderstorm accompanied by ten minutes rain around 23:00 last night. Not 'nuff. Chill wind this morning.

The vet reckons it's a twisted bowel, but may be a cancer thing.
Twisted bowel can be sorted this morning with a bit of brutal non-scalpel surgery by a very long arm.
Cancer would, of course, need a needle.
We shall see.

Pretty pointless, really: I need to know what might be the purpose of the "pipe" that stretches across the roof of this Swiss alpine chalet, please, if anyone can say?

Morning folks. Good news Wodders, at last, poor lady. Hope the mare is OK UP. Karearea I am thinking something to do with snow. Maybe limit the amount that slides off at once.
I am taking my bad back, back to bed. Lying flat is the only pain free position. Mucho scotch helped yesterday but it is a bit early for that.

Thank you, Ex-A - looks like that is exactly what it is, a snow-retention device so people below don't get avalanched if a roof-full of snow slides off at once.Ex-Ascot wrote: ↑Tue Jun 28, 2022 5:23 amMorning folks. Yup, a snow breaker-upper. Prevents huge slabs falling on your head when you storm out the house in a rage and slam the door behind you. As one does.

Only an idea Karearea
I lasted 35 mins in bed. Just can't do it during the day. Always my problem when night flying.
Now having a breakfast beer.
Odd weather, overcast, had some rain in the night.

A useful morning at the Gestoria as one advances at a snail's pace towards applying (not actually getting) Residency cards to replace A4 Residency certificates.
The Spanish Armada was actually planned for 1586 but it took an additional two years to sign and stamp the documents, end-user certificates, and sailors vaccination permits.....
