Keep Feb 5,6th 2022 clear!
Keep Feb 5,6th 2022 clear!
...you might even get to see a 'plane or two of a type you have never seen before or eat a sausage on a stick with a glass of something cold to cool you from the summer's heat.
Been in data comm since we formed the bits individually with a Morse key.

Re: Militaria and Aviation Extravaganza
Visited this event (postponed from February) this weekend, very glad I did. Good value at $15; easy parking, well-directed.
Some noble aircraft and evocative displays of equipment, uniforms and memorabilia.
Well done!

I am glad you enjoyed it!
It was not the crowd numbers we hoped for but there was a lot of competition in the area. $40K or so from the gates but there are some expenses to clear up yet.

Respectfully touched the wing of a Hawker Harrier, a Skyhawk, two Vampires, [the nose of] a Hawker Hunter, a Strikemaster, and an Aermacchi.
Will definitely return and view these fascinating exhibits again.
Wishing all success to the museum.

John - Is there a repeat planned at the moment? If so a day out with the grandchildren will be in order.

A repeat is planned but no firm decision to my knowledge.
