There is a book 'Lincolnshire Privies' we have a copy in our library.
We visited, but didn't use, one of my forebears Privies. It was a two seater in a small stone building on the edge of the garden a short distance from the house. It was set into the wall of the garden with a field bottom below.

I remember Dad had a copy of this when I was a kid, a very funny book, especially for a 10 or 12 year old.

Pinky, I never realised how much science there is in target shooting until I made a rifle stock and a box for shooting accessories for a target shooter and spent a bit of time talking to him. Since then, I've also got to know a Mexico Olympics pistol shooter, and D1 has also taken up target shooting, so I'm constantly learning new things about it.
