This is a good idea *Alison* only just found it.

I have no idea but it will probably involve lifting and cleaning.

With the very docile weather forecast for the weekend, tomorrow I'll be washing Mrs C16's car, then clearing up the last remaining bits of small fallen branches from Storm Arwen's activities in late November. Sunday will be external window washing day and fitting an additional hard drive to the Memsahib's PC as she has run out of space for all her craft videos on the existing one. Oh, the excitement.....

C16, I used to have an additional hard drive in the garage. Backup up everything and no clutter in the house.

Even though it's Friday, I have no idea what I'm doing this weekend. I don't even know what I'm doing today.

When it's a dog show weekend (which this isn't) I have a much better idea of activity.

Well, I DID get up well before dawn and went to play golf. Tee time was 7:32am and it was still very dark! Did tee off a few minutes late as soon as a watched behind the ball striker could hopefully see the ball against the lighter (!) sky. Once things lightened up it proved a pleasant morning, chilly but not freezing like previous days and because of the high pressure over UK and most of Europe, no wind.
Golf was like the curate's egg. Good in parts.

Pool swim, meet my parents and sister for her birthday, bought her a present (a jewel for her wrist) and got a large part of the cake in exchange. Second and final part of the food shopping. Finally I unclogged the kitchen sink. I just got back from a couple of beers with he beer-buddy.

Thank you admin for the idea.

A cold front with some snow is guessed so I am looking forward to some time at home to catch up with some movies I meant to see for a long time.

Another Handsfree day. We were wanting to go cruising this weekend but it looks as if it will be too windy. Guess it will be a few beers at the safari camp.https://www.drifters.co.za/tours-and-lo ... aun-lodge/ They insist on calling it a lodge and the tents 'units'. It is a bloody camp. Even the luxury camps in the Delta call themselves camps. The CEO changed it to lodge some years ago then in their brochure kept on calling it a camp.

Out for lunch shortly with friends today. Tomorrow taking all the family to a fancy restaurant to celebrate my 80th. birthday, the fact that I am almost 82 shows how long it takes to get them together and it doesn't include Oz daughter. Sunday I will spend contemplating a very thin wallet.

Tomorrow taking grandson to look at ready to wear suits. That will be fun, 16 yrs old and 6 ft 3.
Then again it might be Sunday for his 2nd UK Covid jab, his 3rd jab as he had one on Netherlands and then a suit. That'll be fun double fun.

Wot I done on Friday was have ~90 minutes and $1,000 of dental work done, will spend the weekend letting my face and teeth settle down again.
Still have all 32 though :)

Looks like my weekend might involve clearing all the debris from the pool. It's a bit windy here (although mild compared to the North Bay) and any loose vegetation appears to be ending up in the pool.

Bad for you. even worse for SoCal.
Batten down the hatches.
At least the dogs will probably not get blown away.

Visit to the local doctor today - getting a bit out of breath for no good reason. After thorough check of chest was prescribed 5 day course of prednisolone & antibiotics. This means my blood sugars will be higher than usual so I have to get the Novorapid pen out of the fridge and use that together with the usual insulin jabs. The joys of getting old. And on Monday I take the ferry to Kirkwall for a long-overdue visit to the podiatrist - weather guessers say "light cloud & moderate breeze" so the crossing shouldn't be too bumpy. Ferry is still on the refit timetable so it's a 2.5 hour journey there and a 2.5 hour journey back. Fortunately I have my Kindle and laptop loaded with books & music so I shall just sit back and listen.
