It is quite a late MD-83.
Stepped back in amazement the first time I saw the pulleys and hawsers in the main u/c bay of a -10.

I always remember the standard phrase from aircrew manualsBelieved in cables did MdC.
Very flexible word is "suitable""..and a suitable system of pulleys, levers, and bellcranks"

I'd give my left bollock to fly one of those!!
My late Father got to fly a Beaufighter on one occasion. Most impressed he was but always regretted not having the chance to fly the Mossie!
He once had the chance, and knocked it back as he didn't think he could handle it, to fly a brand new fresh from the Castle Bromwich factory MkIX Spitfire!
Kicked himself for the reast of his Life!
