Apparently many years ago a then Student at my old Boarding School wrote a 'poem' which began...

A is for Awful words he uses

B is for Blushes, as she refuses

These are the few I remember, I'm sure there were many versions.

A for 'orses, B for mutton, C for miles, D for mation, E for brick, F for 'vescent, G**, H***, I****, J***, K***, L for leather, M*********, N****, O for the garden wall, P**, Q for the tickets, R for mo, S for Williams, T***, U for me, V*****, X for breakfast, Y for girlfriend , W*****
