Are you sure there’s an Autopilot on this model?

G-Man's photo of two pilots under the fuselage brings to mind a truck with a noisy transmission.
Together with a colleague we were test-driving this vehicle when I decided to get out and stand alongside as the vehicle passed so that I could identify whereabouts the noise was located.
As the rear of the vehicle passed me I came face to face with my colleague who had had the same idea and said "You have control" - only I had already left the cab.
Fortunately, without input from the accelerator, the vehicle 'stalled' and came to a halt a few yards beyond where we were standing.

You told me that all of Pablo Escobar's hippos had been shipped out to India and Mexico. Not just 70.......
Thank you G-Man. Got to get the laptop out. What was actually happening?
This was rappelling re-currency with the US Forest Service. The crew had to rappell every 14 days to remain current. The Bell 206L4, (Long Ranger), is the only aircraft where they go inside the skids, all others go outside, has to do with lateral CG.
