Our friend back in Spain was walking her three dogs yesterday morning when she noticed a tiny ginger kitten looking terrified in the undergrowth. No mother cat in sight. Picked it up and took it home. Tried desperately to find someone to take it before her younger daughter got home from school, and older daughter back from paramedic course. Failed.
By nightfall, kitten named, provided with toys, food, litter box, and many cuddles from daughters etc. Talk about luck.

Re: Luck
The same lady who found Milo comes up every second day to feed our two streetcsts. Yesterday the Big One - j'accuse - knocked over and smashed a large ornimental pot in the front yard, by leaping over the wall and using it as a landing point.
