The Octopus Agile tariff requires a smart meter to be fitted in order to take advantage of the half hourly prices plus my usage is transmitted to Octopus at the same frequency.

Re chainsaws - Jim, a local farm hand, does all that kind of work for me and brings his own chainsaw. I wouldn't have a clue how to safely operate one! I have an electric powered splitter which I use to finish the job.

....I thought these were pretty good videos and I find I was conforming with most, nay all, that was being put across. I didn't know there were so many "named" undercuts, but I think I've probably used most of them. But I'm not cutting trees that big here. Thanks for that I've bookmarked it..
