Adblue

My neighbour owned a 2016 Citroen diesel van which needed repairing about a year ago as the adblue tank and the adblue injector needed replacing.

Not a cheap repair.

She traded it in for a 2018 Peugot diesel van and there is now an adblue fault showing.

She gets the fault diagnosed on Friday.

Whilst it may be coincidence, I decided to do some research.

This led me to look at adblue systems in general, and to my surprise, I discovered that adblue has a freezing point of -11c.

Perhaps there is a clue there.

I understand that adblue may called other things elsewhere.
