John Levesley GATCO's official historian has developed a website on WordPress with many photos and other documents provided by GATCO Members. Not only of interest to ATCO's as there are plenty of photos and information for anyone interested in British aviation and it's history.

atchistory.wordpress.com is worth a perusal with regular updates. :D

Thanks Stuart; not easy using a smartphone with 3G! I've spent many an hour enjoying the contributions so far and hope it continues to flourish with new and interesting material.

Just been perusing the site and there is a lot of new interesting material including North Sea Oil operations.

John Levesley is still asking for more photos and other material that can be used.

A bit misleading as it's only the UK. Phillipe Domogala, e-Eurocontroller and man about IFATCA wrote a history of Ops at MUAC a couple of years ago. Very personalised unfortunately and doesn't tell the whole story [-X . That is probably still NATO Classified
