Whilst Jimmy sits in Southampton waiting for a chance to get his 600th Test wicket, play already abandoned in Leeds

He definitely struggled last night, as did Bairstow for too long.

But how much of it was due to some very good bowling?

The price of political interference

Mind you there has been 'political interference' since 1994!

By my reckoning, the 'England' team at Paarl today actually has 5 Englishmen in it!

Is this a record?

No, a record is a circular piece of vinyl, usually black, with a hole in the middle and one or more grooves on at least one side.

More than one groove?

Never had one like that!

I believe there have been a few pop records with more than one, and there's a horse racing game out there where you place your bets and then put the stylus on the record where it picks up one of a set of tracks commentating on the race, each with a different result, so you don't know in advance which one you're going to get.

https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/get-into-the-groove/ gives more details.
