But nice as it is, it also means that India will be full of confidence for the visit of England. When I do believe that, on Indian wickets, England's current bowing attack will be found wanting.

Question is which team will India select, Kohli back as captain , Bumrah and Ashwin possibly also available or do the selectors keep the winning team?

Turned down a chance to pay £135 for a ticket at Lord’s Test Match in August :-o

The last time I went to Wanderers, to see SA v Aus, I paid fewer Rand's than that for a seat in the Corlett Rd stand, behind the bowlers arm.

Paid less than that for all five days in total at Newlands last year, reckon by the time you’ve had a couple of pints, some food and transport, you’re looking at over £200 for one day and what’s the chances of the match going ahead at 100% capacity.

Just read this article in the Guardian, about the rotation of players back to the UK, whilst on tour in India and Sri Lanka.

Funny idea.

I would have thought a policy of rotation would be better served, by keeping players in the squad in the region and acclimatised.

I think it’s also to give them a break from bio secure bubbles, not that they can do much in the UK at the moment :((

Watching the Test Matches in Sri Lanka and it’s almost like village cricket where each team has sneaked in a “ ringer” because they’re so much better than the rest, Root and Embuldeniya being the ringers :ymdevil:

Was Roots bowling analysis of 2 wickets for Zero runs the best ever bowling in a Test?

Only bowled 1.5 overs , so probably not a long enough spell for the record books.

Too good for the record?

And isn't he on a Hat Trick, the next time he bowls?

This one I do know and he could only be on a hat trick if he took the last two wickets in the first innings and one with his first ball in the second innings, a hat trick doesn’t carry over to his next match :((

What a dickhead. =)) Reminds me of when Gattting was bowled in a similar manner by Shane Warne. ^:)^
