Mrs 4ma and I just watched the first Hundred match. We weren't particularly impressed or excited by it and the whole presentation was tacky. 2/10 - more improvement needed. Additionally the score strap line at the bottom of the screen didn't seem to make sense.

Mrs 4ma did not like the flashing captions as she is affected by such things - there was no pre-warning about them. As much as we like watching cricket, this is one series I don't think we'll be watching.

England playing like shite at Trent Bridge. Using openers who haven't exactly sparkled in the previous few tests and falling to soft dismissals. X(

A good morning for England.

I reckon that Sunday tickets will be worth using.

I’ve already been caught out by England’s appalling batting once this season , but still optimistic, alternative of a one day cup match at The Oval in reserve.

Pretty good day today :D
England took complete control of the third Test against India at Headingley after Joe Root scored a century - meaning their top four batsmen all scored half-centuries in the same innings for the first time in eight years.

Root made an impressive 121 runs while Dawid Malan was eyeing a century on his return to the Test side but was agonisingly out for 70 caught down the leg side with the last ball before tea. Wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant did not even appeal but Mohammed Siraj was convinced and Malan was given out on review.

England extended their lead to 300 runs but Root will remain slightly disappointed after a middle order collapse saw the hosts fall from 350-3 to 383-7. Still, England remain in charge of the Test and on course to level the series at 1-1, with captain Root scoring his third century of the series.
