Do the Tykes get a refund as well, as only 20 overs were bowled?

Off to The Oval today, not quite my ideal cricket watching OAT, but it’s another half price ticket from a contact

Normal service has been resumed
England's batting disintegrated in the face of an inspired India, who won the fourth Test by 157 runs to take a 2-1 lead in the series.
Set an unlikely 368 for victory or, more realistically, looking to bat out the fifth day, England were dismissed for 210 on a blameless pitch at the Kia Oval.

Root must be dug out and disposed of.

Silverwood is the main culprit

Root can sometimes bat well but he is not a captain. He's just been lucky.

I agree that he isn't the best captain England have had. BUT, who do you nominate as his successor?
Another good day at the Scarborough Festival!

Sir Geoff Boycott turned 81 today. It's taken him 897 years to get there.

The ECB should stop pussy footing about and throw Yorkshire out of the County Championship and all other first class competitions.
Any further punishments that can be added would be welcome

With this level of intelligence I think that a Darwin Award is probably in his future

147.
Rory Burns was bowled with the very first ball of the series and Joe Root followed soon after for a duck. England were 29-4 when Ben Stokes was out and only scraped to their score thanks to Jos Buttler's 39, plus 35 from Ollie Pope.

I would refer the members present to my previous comments regarding Root:
Root must be dug out and disposed of.
Root can sometimes bat well but he is not a captain.
....and today he's done both very badly.

With all the Trouble at Yorkshire, why’s Silverwood still in position, the fact that he’s crap at his current job is neither here or there
