Sports Personality of the Year

#1 Post by Capetonian » Sun Dec 18, 2016 7:46 pm

I am passionately disinterested in 'sport' but flicking through the channels, happened to see that the Sports 'Personality' of the Year is on BBC1.

In my view, it should be Clare Balding, for her commentaries and interviews on the Rio Olympics, of which I was forced to watch some in the presence of family. I just hope it's not that odious chav Hamilton, but I believe he was given the dubious accolade last year so I suppose he can't get it again.

I've not heard of several of the nominees for Sports Personality.

Josh Widdicome made what he thinks of the odious Hamilton and his dress sense clear on The Last Leg, last night. Exactly same thinking as me.

Sir Mo Farah plays the race card.

For the second time he has been involved in an airport incident where he appears to think that being asked to follow the same rules as everybody else amounts to racism.
