My bet's on South Africa to win the semi against Wales and NZ to win against England, on their form so far.

Yep. Then what? It will be a good final. Shame we do not have TV.

If that's the case then NZ v SA in final and again, on form, NZ to win, but there's many a slip - in other words England may be playing Wales or SA - or NZ may be playing Wales in the final! That's how the bookies make their money! Anyway, it's going to be a great final.

You could probably watch highlights on YouTube, Ex-Ascot, if you can stream fast enough?

I hope that it isn't NZ v SA, as I saw that one at Ellis Park.
T'was a good day out.

I had won in a raffle the right to buy 2 tickets. My son was attending Wits Technicon at the time and he had a car parking pass on the car I'd bought him, so I was one of the privileged few who could park almost in the stadium.

Ian - a moment to savour at Ellis Park.

Today a moment to remember for England fans. The All Blacks were totally outclassed in almost every way - turnover, penalties, pushed into touch time and again running down the wing, hardly making any ground forwards, resorting to kicking to try and gain ground so often, poor handling and made to look like a club side.... Well done England. ^:)^ A few weeks mourning imminent in New Zealand I think. I would have lost money if I had bet on this result!

On this form I think they are heading for victory, but you never know ;)))

An England v Wales final would set Max Boyce up with material for a while!

Ian funny you should mention the possibility of an England versus Wales final; I just voiced a vague possibility to Ex-A just now. :D

Anyway I'm so happy that England wopped the All Blacks. :-bd :YMPARTY:

If we play Wales they will need 30 ambulances lined up outside.

Brilliant, Eddie and all! I loved the 'attack' on the haka. Brilliant psyops. :-bd

I saw the try and one brilliant throw in, NZ three in direct to a back before the line out had formed. Risky move with most of your team offside though.

Ah Well. As a Brit. living in NZ I have mixed emotions regarding the English defeat of the All Blacks. ( but I'll keep them to myself ! )

I'm spending the weekend on a farm on the Berg River with friends who are a massive rugby household so my loyalty is with the Bokke. It would be anyway, plus I can't stand the Welsh.
GO BOKKE!

I'm watching at home with the family and a few friends who are great rugby fans. We are cheering the Welsh on because we can't stand South Africans. It would be great to have a UK final. Come on Wales!

Bad luck Wales. I hope England are on great form in the final. They should walk it if they are.

A superb performance by England to beat the All Blacks yesterday.

Hard fought, grim battle of attrition today and it could have gone either way. On current form England must be favourite to take the Webb Ellis trophy!

In retrospect the moment when Faf de Klerk lovingly pointed out the piece of toast in Welsh lock Jake Ball's beard was probably the most enjoyable part of today's game.. =))

A loving moment

For all his box kicking, the diminutive de Klerk is the rudder that guides the mighty South African pack (a pack that was 16 kilograms lighter than the Welsh today).

I was hoping he was going to bite de Klerk's face off - now that would have livened up the slugfest! Like yesterday the damp ground slowed it down and made it a war of attrition, with too much kicking and mis-handling. Great game nonetheless. Ihope the final is on firmer ground.
