Favourite Webcams

#1 Post by frostbite » Tue Sep 29, 2015 2:50 pm

I spend far too long looking at cams and their appeal of course varies by time of day, and time of year in many cases.

This first one is rather different and I could spend hours watching.

Just wish I was there.

I like this one,

Just to remind me of my last holiday at the hotel.

Here's a good'un. Easily controllable camera as well.

This is another with full controls. Exmouth looks like a pleasant and civilised place.

Only problem with all those controls is the kids getting hold of them.

This is a very useful site.

Not so much for the featured location unless you live in SE UK but for the many and varied links it provides.

Since when has Milnerton had a lagoon? WTF?!

Whether it is a lagoon in the strict geographic sense I don't know, but it is certainly known as Milnerton (or Millerton!) Lagoon

Bah! Humbug!

Used to be a beach when one was a sprog nicking kreef off the rocks. With any luck the next large wave passing through will give the gene pool a quick wipe by offing the upwardly mobile spooge snorkelers infesting the area.

I like the weathercam network which has 65 cameras around Aus. Not live but they give a picture
every few minutes.

I like looking at what is happening in Darwin, especially now when you get the build up of huge
storms in the afternoon.

Thinks would be nice to have these permanently available. Any thoughts on my moving this topic to the "Links" forum?

500N, you might like to check out Weather Underground. There's quite a large network of weather stations around the world on it, and many have webcams.

Earthcam dot com has dozens, all over the world. Streaming, Hi def and some with sound.

Africam dot com has a half dozen or so as well.

There are some Deer, some with magnificent antlers, noshing here regularly. Good time is after 1500 GMT.
