the ultimate gismo, and it plays music.

Martin Molin of the swedish band Wintergatan created a gismo that uses 2,000 marbles to play music.
it is an absolutely brilliant piece of work and the tune it plays is pretty neat as well.
the man is a genius.

What an utterly marbleous machine! Bet this guy doesn't waste his spare time posting on random aviation forums. A mad genius. We need his kind of wonderful madness... :)

Why does that machine remind me of this movie scene or have I lost my marbles?

Young Frankenstein was better. I cannot hear "Putting on the Ritz" today without grinning.

However...why is it always necessary to wind the bed up to the roof ? Surely a lighting conductor bringing the flux down to the bed would have been easier ?

Young Frankenstein paid comedic homage to the original and is one of my favourite comedies of all time. The Rocky Horror Picture Show did well with the scene as well!
