Members projects.

#1 Post by admin » Mon Sep 07, 2015 8:36 pm

Added to this forum as I suspect that many of us have projects that are dear to our hearts. Projects that we would like to chat about without them being lost in the noise of JB. Projects that might run for months or even years. There are a lot of really smart people here whose input could help and assist in solving any bottlenecks that might occur in an individuals project. Needless to say I have a separate agenda - my project coming to a screen close to you. :D

If anyone already has a project that they would lke moved here PM me.

Alison

So this is for John and Henry :-)
Because they stand on the wall and say "nothing's gonna hurt you tonight, not on my watch".

Excellent idea Alison although I fear many members here will get it confused with "Photos of Everybody". :-s
Been in data comm since we formed the bits individually with a Morse key.

No aviation/engineering content!

Currently very busy writing and recording my 4th solo album, described as music for an imaginary film. It is a, er, mock-Mediaeval/prog rock/world music concept album with perhaps the longest and most ridiculous title ever, so a somewhat "niche market" !

Interesting. What instrument(s) do you play?

My main ones are ukuleles, keyboards, drums, timpani and percussion. This album started as a character in a dream but has developed into something I would never have thought I could do, and I'm getting a much bigger sound and arrangement than any previous work I have done, which was fairly straight forward songs and tunes. Have a choir arranger (London Philharmonic Choir, no less!) arranging the play-out for the last song, and a great trombonist scheduled to add some mediaeval Sackbutt impersonations! My paid work is just having to bloody well wait until I can go no further!
