Skavasta airport
Skavasta airport
Anybody know what the largest aircraft is that Skavasta can take? Will it take an A330?
Re: Skavasta airport
Are you planning a highjack?
Re: Skavasta airport
Nope. It was a serious question from an operator (ex son-in-law is in the business).
However, the question has now, apparently, been answered.

Don't ho;d us all in suspense, can it handle a A330? Someone else might need to know, or need it as a useless piece of trivia to come out with over drinks.
"Did you know that Skavasta airport can/cannot handle an a/c the size of an A330?"

The relevant Facebook replies!!
Polet Airlines have operated the Antonov An-124-100 Ruslan through NYO as well as Kalitta the B747-100F in the past if that helps
Dave, the PCN looks fine at 60/F/B for Apron 2 and Twy A. However need to check airfield diagram... I suspect Twy A leads to Apron 2. Rwy is 60/F/B and is 45m wide and 2800m long with no significant offsets at either end. A340 only gets up to ACN60 at very high weights....I would certainly be putting Eddy's A340 in there (subj to outboard snow clearance in the winter) Let me know if you need any more.
Actually I realise I did not answer Dave's actual question which was concerning A330....in this it will be limited to somewhere around 209t without PPR.
