We have tried practically every option between our two homes. Used to do it slow time. Hotels JNB, DXB and ATH. But that means going through customs and immigration about 100 times which I find very stressful particularly trying to behave in DXB with the ragheads. Then there is the 8 hours on a ship. Next year on Cape's suggestion we are going via Zurich straight through and straight to the ship, just two days. On the way back we think that we will get a ship to Paros and domestic flight to ATH. Only been doing it for 8 years we will get it right in the end.

I see The Household / MOD is planning on getting rid of the 146 fleet. Might be with your connections you could pick up one cheap and fly.......oh no, sorry, forgot no airstrip on Amorgos.

I am surprised Ex-A your are abandoning the full marine trip from mainland to Amorgos in favour of a plane trip.
