Ryanair closes Girona

Ryanair has announced it is closing its base at Girona and sacking 164 staff including crew stationed there. Writing had been on the wall for years ever since Girona town council refused to subsidise flights there.

Was there a few weeks ago on a Sunday evening. There were more staff than pax, the place was deserted.

Quite a few Harpair flights to REUS now, obviously getting a better deal there.
When all else fails, read the instructions.
