Kuwait will entirely close its airport, amid fears that the Coronavirus (Covid-19) could spread further in the small Arabic country.
On Wednesday evening, it was announced that Kuwait International Airport (IATA: KWI) will close, starting on Friday, for an indefinite period of time.

Let’s just hope that the Iraqis won’t try to be the first to reopen Kuwait Intl airport. Sad news yet another UK serviceman has lost his life in the sandpit so this story drags on.
WTF are we doing there anyway? If whole countries are closing down transport infrastructure because of ‘flu then it’s tempting to ponder how to cut off these hotbeds of exporters of violence.
I know, thread drift........

He's looked at a map, drawn a line through the water around continental Europe with his Sharpie and all the islands are outside. The Channel Islands might be included in the ban because he probably didn't draw the line that carefully so they'll be on the inside.Capetonian wrote: ↑Thu Mar 12, 2020 8:08 amThere's zero logic to it. And what about CI, IoM, etc, which are not UK, EU, or Schengen?

Is it suggested that transmission from the USA to Wuhan was intentional? - or accidental?

Surely accidental, in that article it states during a Military Sports meet an accidental transfer of the virus.
Is it only a possibility that such a thing could happen? on the theory presented one could argue that such an event is possible, maybe not likely, but possible.

UK Ireland Travel Ban
Via CNN
The Trump administration is expected to extend the travel ban to the United States from European countries to include the United Kingdom and Ireland.
“We’re looking at it very seriously because they have had a little bit of activity unfortunately so we are going to be looking at that, actually we already have looked at it and that is going to be announced,” Trump said during a press conference with his coronavirus task force at the White House this afternoon.
Following Trump's remarks, Vice President Mike Pence said all travel from the United Kingdom and Ireland has been suspended, effective midnight on Monday.
The same exclusions that are a part of the already existing European travel restrictions will also apply to the UK and Ireland, Pence said.

Whatever the efficacy of the bans, limited in the case of the US as the virus is now prevalent within its borders, the impact of the worldwide disruption will be huge in terms of the airline industry...
The International Air Transport Association estimated that the new coronavirus' disruption could erase $113 billion in revenue.
