Another Airline to avoid, especially if you are a woman.

This is a terrible story; https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/ ... rch-ordeal.

What I don't understand is why they didn't first check to see if any passengers were booked on the flight as being very pregnant and of an age to even be pregnant. Also, why do an intimate examination when it is bl**dy obvious if someone has just given birth! X( And why not tell everyone what is going on? X( I hope that they lose loads of business over this.

Edited to add; what made them think that any fare paying passenger would want to give birth in an airport toilet, leave the baby there and calmly board their flight FFS.

Perhaps the title of this thread should be: “Another Area of the World to Avoid, especially if you are a Woman”?

What would all those Grade 1 misogynists in the Sandpit do if all the females of that area discreetly moved away (those able to escape!) to more liberal countries and left them alone with no hetero company?

Quite right, BM, I will add Qatar to my no-go list. Dubai has been on it for a long time. Maybe it would just be easier to avoid all arab cuntries. (That's not a spelling mistake)

Problem is that a lot of women there make enough money (at least those who can move away) to be able to ignore those hazards - or the bucket of money fills faster than the bucket of excrement.

Definitely a no-go area at least beyond an initial trip.

Your destination remains

It will be interesting to see if any one is actually punished; https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/articl ... l.......or will they attempt to brush the whole disgusting episode under the carpet once the dust has settled..... :-?

At least the baby is OK. :)

Mrs Ex-Ascot; The admittedly cynical side of me thinks that a suitable scapegoat will be located and 'dealt with,' in due course. :-?

Can we clarify whether the action was taken by the airline or the airport?

The latest on this appalling story; https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/articl ... andal.html

It seems that the mother had managed to fly out before the baby was discovered.
