I think there is a joke about a young lass pax saying she is a princess and the steward saying he is a queen or something so the pax has to obey.

Whenever I flew with the local airline with mainly females FAs with a fairly small body structure, I keep thinking how they are going to cope in an emergency evacuation. They keep reassure me they will do fine (and they saw a worrying face why someone asks this kind of questions).

Ex-A I thought the evacuation trials were done by the manufacturer not the airline.

They are but the airline's crew, in our case anyway. The manufacturer probably said if you want 361 seats you prove that you can get them out. POB was usually nearer 400 with kids on laps and crew. Also on these trials the pax do not have bags to get out of the overhead locker so it is not very realistic.

.......Also on these trials the pax do not have bags to get out of the overhead locker..........

They shouldn't take them out in real life, either, so no difference ?

( But try telling them that ! )
