The woman behind the epic airplane meltdown where she proclaimed “that motherf—r back there is not real” to bemused fellow passengers is a Texas marketing executive who told cops the rant was sparked by an argument over wireless headphones.
Tiffany Gomas, a Dallas resident, was kicked off the plane following her bizarre outburst which led to hours of delays for other passengers, documents reviewed by The Post show.
Despite claiming “I’m getting the f—k off, and there’s a reason why I’m getting the f—k off” in the viral video of her storming up and down the plane aisle, the 38-year-old was not willing to leave the American Airlines flight and had to be removed by staff, according the police documents.
Before heading toward the front of the plane, Gomas added in her address to passengers: “You can sit on this plane and you can f—ing die with them or not. I’m not going to.”
The argument had started when Gomas fell out with relatives she was traveling with, accusing them of stealing her AirPods, the cops said.
“The female then started claiming the aircraft was not safe and did not want the aircraft to leave due to her believing it would not make it to its destination,” the July 2 complaint reads.
Gomas proclaimed “that motherf—r back there is not real” to bemused fellow passengers.

All the other passengers on Flight 1009 from Fort Worth to Orlando were then made to deplane so they could be screened through security again as a precaution because of the the nature of Gomas’ complaints.
“TSA personnel arrived at the scene to conduct a full rescreening of the aircraft,” the paperwork revealed.
By the time officers arrived at the gate, Gomas was “distraught” and trying to get back onto the plane. When Dallas-Fort Worth Department of Public Safety cops tried to speak to Gomas, she refused.
“[The airline manager] gave Gomas a verbal criminal trespass notice, explaining she was denied boarding and needed to depart the secure area,” investigators noted.
The rejected passenger was eventually escorted to the non-secure area of the airport, but that didn’t stop her from attempting to come back through TSA screening and into the boarding area multiple times, the documents say.
Police eventually tracked Gomas down to the terminal curb, where she was sitting and waiting for an Uber.
The argument had started when Gomas fell out with relatives she was traveling with, accusing them of stealing her AirPods, cops said.
She was given a ticket for criminal trespass notice which she refused to sign. Gomas did not show police her ID, the complaint states. She was never formally arrested or taken into custody. Through a representative, Gomas declined to give comment on the incident to The Post.
Although her reputation has taken a hit, at least legally Gomas is likely in the clear.
“The viral video if the stunning part of it, but I doubt you’re going to see some big prosecution over it,” Austin Attorney Adam Loewy told The Post.
Gomas lives in a $2 million home in the coveted Lakewood neighborhood.

Gomas, sporting bold eye makeup, a slick hairdo and a tan jacket, expressed remorse for her unhinged antics captured on a fellow passenger’s cellphone.
“Distressed or not I should’ve been in control of my emotions and that was not the case,” she said. “My use of profanity was completely unnecessary and I want to apologize to everyone on that plane, especially those that had children aboard.”
Fighting back tears, she added, “While it has been really comical for everyone and I have highly enjoyed so many of the memes, on the flip side it is very invasive and unkind and I don’t know what I would do without the love and support of my friends and family.”

According to this report, about half an hour into the flight, passengers and flight attendants in the back of the plane started coughing and couldn’t see.
No one knew what was happening, so the flight attendant got on the PA to state that if anyone knew what was in the air, they needed to speak up. A short time later, the decision was made to divert to Jacksonville.
When it was clear how seriously this situation was being taken, someone came forward and claimed they had accidentally used pepper spray. The claim was that they had mistaken pepper spray for something else (either sanitizer or lotion), which is of course a highly suspect claim.
At the gate, paramedics boarded the plane, and police also boarded to take statements from passengers. One flight attendant even needed additional care, reportedly. The person who fessed up to the pepper spray was reportedly a member of a four person family, and the family was escorted off, as passengers cheered.
For what it’s worth, passengers were on the ground for nearly four hours — they landed in Jacksonville at 6:39PM, and continued to New York on a different aircraft at 10:29PM, arriving over three hours behind schedule.

First of all, I can’t imagine any planet on which someone could mistake pepper spray for lotion or hand sanitizer. I’m sorry, but that’s simply not believable. It’s also worth mentioning that while the TSA bans bringing pepper spray through security checkpoints, it’s not surprising that people could pretty easily bring it onboard, since in the scanner it probably just looks like any other liquid.
So, why would a passenger intentionally pepper spray the cabin? Here’s the theory that apparently emerged:
Turns out it may be racially motivated and now AA and PD is taking the matter that much more seriously. Multiple passengers are talking about and agreeing that it was. Across from the Italian family was a Black family with a baby. A few people said they heard the spray go off and the teen son giggle about it and look across the aisle to the other family. Others are describing being asleep and waking up coughing.
A few things are being opined, that the mom is taking the blame because it’s more believable she’d make that “mistake” over her teen son, whether or not the whole family was in on it, and why was the other family targeted that way when there wasn’t any indication of a problem between them beforehand according to neighboring passengers.
While it’s entirely possible that this was the motivation, I think it’s also possible a teen just wasn’t using his brain, and thought it would be a funny prank. So while we can’t know for sure what the motivation was, the fact that there was giggling going on while this happened further supports that this probably wasn’t an accident.

Runway always sounds more exciting than pan, normally used for omelettes, or apron which might be regarded as sexist, or ageist if referring to grandma’s apparel.
And of course tarmac is a trade name so we don’t want the quarry folks taking legal action for cooyright…
Manoovering area is just to difficult to spell and taxiway implies a cab rank…

One passenger filmed their wild experience cruising down a Delta Air Lines plane's emergency slide, and it looked really fun.
"Soooo this happened the other day on my flight with delta," a person with the username johniquec wrote in a TikTok post on August 3.
The passenger's post included a location tag at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, suggesting that was where the incident took place.
"Come forward. Come this way," a flight attendant's voice could be heard as passengers proceeded toward the emergency slide in the video. "Come this way. Leave everything. Jump and slide."

In the second half of the video, johniquec said that the plane had gotten a flat tire because it had "landed so hard." Emergency personnel could be seen spraying jets of water at the area surrounding the plane's tire.
A representative for Delta Air Lines confirmed that the video was filmed on Delta Air Lines flight 1437. Flight 1437 had to deploy its emergency slides for passengers to deplane after bursting a tire while landing in Atlanta, Georgia, on August 2.
"Initial reports indicate that one of the aircraft's tires blew upon landing and components of the landing gear were hot," said the Delta representative. "Customers evacuated via emergency slides and were moved to the terminal via bus."
"We apologize to each for this experience – nothing is more important than the safety of our customers and crew," the representative added.
Some were surprised that johniquec could remain so cheerful during an emergency.
"I feel as though the presence of excessive laughter genuinely concerns me," said another person on TikTok.

One passenger filmed their wild experience cruising down a Delta Air Lines plane's emergency slide, and it looked really fun.
"Soooo this happened the other day on my flight with delta," a person with the username johniquec wrote in a TikTok post on August 3.
The passenger's post included a location tag at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, suggesting that was where the incident took place.
"Come forward. Come this way," a flight attendant's voice could be heard as passengers proceeded toward the emergency slide in the video. "Come this way. Leave everything. Jump and slide."
"Woah," johniquec could be heard giggling as she went down the slide. Staff on the ground were there to help them up at the bottom of the slide.

In the second half of the video, johniquec said that the plane had gotten a flat tire because it had "landed so hard." Emergency personnel could be seen spraying jets of water at the area surrounding the plane's tire.
A representative for Delta Air Lines confirmed that the video was filmed on Delta Air Lines flight 1437. Flight 1437 had to deploy its emergency slides for passengers to deplane after bursting a tire while landing in Atlanta, Georgia, on August 2.
"Initial reports indicate that one of the aircraft's tires blew upon landing and components of the landing gear were hot," said the Delta representative. "Customers evacuated via emergency slides and were moved to the terminal via bus."
"We apologize to each for this experience – nothing is more important than the safety of our customers and crew," the representative added.
Some were surprised that johniquec could remain so cheerful during an emergency.
"I feel as though the presence of excessive laughter genuinely concerns me," said another person on TikTok.

Morgan Osman was kicked off of an American Airlines Boeing 737, and she found the whole situation absurd because she says she’s “Instagram famous.” But she was flying coach.
She appears to have taken her Instagram page with 1 million followers offline since the onboard incident. I must not spend enough time on Instagram, because I had no idea who she was or that she apparently dated Britney Spears’ husband. And I’ve never head of the reality shows she’s been on (Season 5 of Oxygen Network’s Bad Girls Club? VH1’s Miami Monke?).
In the video she claims to have done nothing wrong, and says “call me a b- again” and tells a passenger to “shut the f- up.” It’s when she notices she’s being filmed that she declares herself Instagram famous.

It’s cool to get hellos at check-in and breakfast at places like the Andaz Maui and Park Hyatt Maldives.
Just like Morgan Osman, I sometimes fly American Airlines economy on domestic trips. Unlike Ms. Osman I don’t believe I’m accorded any special privileges, other can complimentary Main Cabin Extra, priority boarding, and a free cocktail and snack, all thanks to Executive Platinum AAdvantage status. Perhaps she needs to be introduced to Instant Pass?

An easyJet flight was canceled and its passengers made to disembark after someone onboard the aircraft apparently defecated on the airplane bathroom floor.
The flight on Sunday evening from the Spanish island of Tenerife to London Gatwick had already been delayed by several hours.
Aaran Gedhu, a passenger on board, told CNN Travel the flight had already run into trouble pre-departure when the scheduled plane was switched out for a smaller aircraft, meaning some customers were turned away at boarding.
Those who made it on board, two hours after the scheduled departure, then had to wait on the ground for more than an hour while bags were offloaded because of the aircraft being overweight.
As the delay extended, the atmosphere on the packed flight was characterized by “suspense and anger,” Gedhu said.
“EasyJet planes, as they are, just aren’t very comfortable – it’s just a basic seat with okayish legroom room. So everyone was just a bit tense,” he said.
“Then, the pilot finally gave the all clear, and then he said that it will be about 20 minutes until departure,” recalled Gedhu.
“And that’s when the incident happened with the defecation.”
‘A very uncomfortable experience’
Gedhu said he was seated in the middle of the aircraft, but saw “two passengers” visit the front airplane bathroom. Then, word spread that someone had defecated on the bathroom floor. An unpleasant smell followed.
No one was happy about this situation, said Gedhu, but he says most believed the incident was an “accident.”
“Everyone was being polite to each other. There was no fighting amongst the passengers,” he said.
“It was just a very uncomfortable experience. Obviously, the plane was in an unsanitary state. So they had to get external cleaners out from the airport to clean it. So that’s when the stairs reconnected, and the cleaners came on to deep clean the flooring.”
According to Gedhu, passengers remained in their seats during the cleaning process. Afterward, the captain of the aircraft told the plane’s occupants they would have to disembark in an announcement captured on video by another passenger, Kitty Streek, who shared the video on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“It was very frustrating,” Streek told CNN Travel. “We obviously can’t prove whether the person simply had an accident or if they had done this out of anger for the delayed flight but it was hard not to be angry either way as nobody wants to be stranded in another country.”
It was another 30 minutes before passengers deplaned, according to Gedhu. He said he was put up in a hotel overnight – around 45 minutes drive from the airport – before boarding a specially scheduled “rescue” flight the following day.
EasyJet confirmed the initial delays on flight EZY8054 on October 15 occurred due to “safety reasons.”
“Some bags were offloaded to be carried on the next available flight for safety reasons, due to the aircraft being overweight,” it said in a statement.
“The flight was subsequently delayed overnight due to the aircraft requiring additional cleaning,” the statement continues. “We provided hotel accommodation for all customers however as there was limited nearby hotel availability in the area we also advised any customers who booked their own that they will be reimbursed.
“The safety and wellbeing of our customers and crew is easyJet’s highest priority and while this was outside of our control we would like to apologise to customers for the inconvenience caused.”
Sunday’s flight cancellation follows several recent disruptive incidents involving bodily fluids on board airplanes.
In September, a Delta Air Lines flight from Atlanta to Barcelona was forced to turn around after a passenger had diarrhea. Earlier that month, Air Canada issued an apology after two passengers who were told to sit in seats that hadn’t been cleaned properly after being covered in vomit during an earlier flight.

An easyJet flight was canceled and its passengers made to disembark after someone onboard the aircraft apparently defecated on the airplane bathroom floor.
The flight on Sunday evening from the Spanish island of Tenerife to London Gatwick had already been delayed by several hours.
Aaran Gedhu, a passenger on board, told CNN Travel the flight had already run into trouble pre-departure when the scheduled plane was switched out for a smaller aircraft, meaning some customers were turned away at boarding.
Those who made it on board, two hours after the scheduled departure, then had to wait on the ground for more than an hour while bags were offloaded because of the aircraft being overweight.
As the delay extended, the atmosphere on the packed flight was characterized by “suspense and anger,” Gedhu said.
“EasyJet planes, as they are, just aren’t very comfortable – it’s just a basic seat with okayish legroom room. So everyone was just a bit tense,” he said.
“Then, the pilot finally gave the all clear, and then he said that it will be about 20 minutes until departure,” recalled Gedhu.
“And that’s when the incident happened with the defecation.”
‘A very uncomfortable experience’
Gedhu said he was seated in the middle of the aircraft, but saw “two passengers” visit the front airplane bathroom. Then, word spread that someone had defecated on the bathroom floor. An unpleasant smell followed.
No one was happy about this situation, said Gedhu, but he says most believed the incident was an “accident.”
“Everyone was being polite to each other. There was no fighting amongst the passengers,” he said.
“It was just a very uncomfortable experience. Obviously, the plane was in an unsanitary state. So they had to get external cleaners out from the airport to clean it. So that’s when the stairs reconnected, and the cleaners came on to deep clean the flooring.”
According to Gedhu, passengers remained in their seats during the cleaning process. Afterward, the captain of the aircraft told the plane’s occupants they would have to disembark in an announcement captured on video by another passenger, Kitty Streek, who shared the video on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“It was very frustrating,” Streek told CNN Travel. “We obviously can’t prove whether the person simply had an accident or if they had done this out of anger for the delayed flight but it was hard not to be angry either way as nobody wants to be stranded in another country.”
It was another 30 minutes before passengers deplaned, according to Gedhu. He said he was put up in a hotel overnight – around 45 minutes drive from the airport – before boarding a specially scheduled “rescue” flight the following day.
EasyJet confirmed the initial delays on flight EZY8054 on October 15 occurred due to “safety reasons.”
“Some bags were offloaded to be carried on the next available flight for safety reasons, due to the aircraft being overweight,” it said in a statement.
“The flight was subsequently delayed overnight due to the aircraft requiring additional cleaning,” the statement continues. “We provided hotel accommodation for all customers however as there was limited nearby hotel availability in the area we also advised any customers who booked their own that they will be reimbursed.
“The safety and wellbeing of our customers and crew is easyJet’s highest priority and while this was outside of our control we would like to apologise to customers for the inconvenience caused.”
Sunday’s flight cancellation follows several recent disruptive incidents involving bodily fluids on board airplanes.
In September, a Delta Air Lines flight from Atlanta to Barcelona was forced to turn around after a passenger had diarrhea. Earlier that month, Air Canada issued an apology after two passengers who were told to sit in seats that hadn’t been cleaned properly after being covered in vomit during an earlier flight.
