So I fired up the PulsePoint app on my phone to see if the fire up the hill was still active (it's not, so presumably extinguished) and noticed a lot of San Jose fire equipment was having a party at the airport. Next stop FR24, clicked on the aircraft on finals and sure enough, it had departed SJC and was coming back in. No idea why, although as it was being chased down the runway by the fire trucks, someone confirmed that all the flaps appeared to be down. It had landed and was back at the gate when I captured the image. On the private side of the airport, not the main terminal.
