Emirates - busy or what?

#1 Post by Boac » Sun Nov 05, 2023 11:03 am

D-in-L is off on Emrats today and I have been tracking her on FR24 for the grandchildren (honest...). I had set a Emrats 'filter' on FR24 and when I checked just now I thought the filter had failed! I had no idea they had so many a/c in the air at once.

This is just some of Emrats traffic at 11(Z)

They really are a huge airline - much of it from transit traffic in DXB. I've flown with them a few times, and found them good. The other airline that has expanded massively is THY, but they're not on the top of my 'to-do' list.

I had a colleague whose NATO job required him to travel to Ankara a lot and he was convinced that THY stood for "They Hate You".
