Aussi Matt Hall flew into 3rd place in the very last Red Bull Air Race in Japan thus clinching the last Red Bull championship to be held.

Having attended three of these races over the years I can confirm that I found them very interesting and most spectacular but TV didn't do them justice and I guess this might be why the viewing figures were so low leading to the demise of the series.
