Airlanders for Scottish Highlands and Islands...?

#1 Post by CharlieOneSix » Tue Apr 30, 2024 10:13 am

Six of the first Airlanders could fly Scottish Highlands and Islands routes..... =))
Would you get on one in Shetland in winter....?! Don't think I would.

It would be nteresting to watch in a storm F10. Hard to outperform Loganair's Britten-Norman Islanders.

What is the speed at which Airlanders 'cruise' (compared to the Islanders)?

The maximum and cruise speeds of the Islander aircraft are 273km/h and 257km/h respectively. The stall speed is 64km/h.
