You are using one specific example to prove a general! A classic error. For example consider your statement "the mid point between infinitly large an infinitly small is also zero." This does not hold for real numbers (numbers on a number line for example) , usually the number exactly between two numbers is the mean of the two numbers divided by 2 but...(-∞+∞)/2 is not 0. The answer is indeterminate!
Halfway to infinity is still infinity...

Usually I stutter when writing, with lots of the the's and that that's, now that that I have left the the literal 'O' out of topology, in this case the mathematics of shapes, when my writing has the proverbial shakes, what am I to do do?
