All's Well That Ends Well?

#1 Post by FD2 » Sun Aug 04, 2019 10:56 pm

After an uneventful hour long flight to fulfil a terminally ill man's dying wish, the passengers are dropped off, but the subsequent take off to return to base goes horribly wrong. The aircraft appears to be being manoeuvred backwards to open ground when it digs in and turns over. Luckily the pilot escapes through the shattered cockpit windscreen. Could it just be a mishandling, sudden lack of power or as suggested an entanglement with some garden furniture? Anyway the onlookers were lucky not to be hit by high velocity detached bits of aircraft. :D

That's considered a "large field" is it?!!!! Looks like the parents' back garden. I'd go for the garden furniture snagging the tail rotor.
The helicopter pilots' mantra: If it hasn't gone wrong then it's just about to...

I don't think that's going to buff out.

Clearly flying helicopters anywhere near the Leicester stadium is dangerous.

Yup - maybe adding the washing line to his tail rotor as he moved back. :-?

I see the Mail has added the Leicester CIty crash in, for added shock horror effect. Now I suspect any helicopter flying near Leicester must somehow be jinxed. :ymdevil:
