I was interested to see the passenger compartment. What is the noise level like back there? Is it possible to converse without the headsets?
We fly this with 2 pilots---While I was qualified as PIC few years back, I am only SIC these days in this aircraft. We do have a "noise cancelling pod" installed, so yes it is quiet in the back and no headsets needed. It does add about 500lbs to the empty weight though.
No lucky gnomes in sight! Do you fly that wonderful machine from the left hand seat?
They do not have "feet" on the dash--as in velcro, but they were there :

Gave two part 135 flight checks this week, (I am check airman for the company). One in the Bell 206L4 pic taken approaching Shasta Bally, and the other in our Bell 407HP, (the one I took to Canada for the engine upgrade last year), pic taken over Whiskeytown Lake.

Great shots man. Only criticism is not a gnome in sight!
Two shots that show why flying is more than just a career. Aesthetics and good spirit come into it all etc.

Yeah, I forgot to take them....they were sitting in my office......
Here is a few over downtown Los Angeles, Staples Center in the pic and in & around Long Beach, with the Queen Mary in the back ground from a few weeks back---and all is right with the world again...lol

Must admit that looking at that just makes the GreenAnger just GreenEnvy!
What music do you guys play en route?
I would make a suggestion here but you know!
Pretty much I have my own playlist---we have no set music..... Mine is mostly classic rock, Rolling Stones, BTO, etc.....

Back in the day used to practice ADF tracking using the Capital Radio 604 transmitter as the NDB (they actually broadcast on a slightly different frequency). Fixed wing for me sadly but you would have liked Capital's advert!
A tad different to the flying you are doing..... Wanna trade?
A tad tricky as I don't have a helo licence. We thought about getting our helo PPLs but the cost was prohibitive. The big fella is too heavy to realistically fly a Robbo etc, so we were going to do the whole thing in a Jetranger. 50 hours and we'd be able to hire one. However, £50K x 2 = a lot of business class travel when we retire.... Also - to be fair, we'd be better off hiring a professional.
