I don't know how the HKAAF manged with their 76Cs. From what I heard they could only winch two out of the sea at any one time or if the went OEI they would all be in the sea. I later flew out of Karratha with the 332. The poor S76s really suffered when the OAT was above 35 degrees. We could still load up to maximum but the S76 were down to offering four pax on a 45 n.m. return leg.
